Outstanting Acheivements

Thomas Field

A very special congratulations to Thomas Field who gained 140 marks out of 150 (Distinction) in Grade 8 piano.

His is a genuinely exceptional result in the highest of the grades, and as such the top qualification for an amateur pianist to gain.

Tom has also gained a place reading Music at Cambridge University.

Aubrey Cable

Aubrey Cable won a Music Scholarship aged 11 to attend the Wells Cathedral School, which is one of the four specialist music schools supported by the UK Government's "Music and Dance Scheme".

Wells Cathedral School has a distinguished history of producing some of the best musicians in the UK. Aubrey's success in gaining a place there is a huge achievement for a young musician who only started playing just four years ago - and is already playing Grade 8 pieces!

Proud father Jeff writes:

"Our son has really flourished under Andrew's tutelage. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Look no further if piano or keyboard is your thing and you wish to take lessons with one of the very best teachers available.”

Bradley Jordan

Bradley Jordan now works as a media composer and production assistant, composing and producing music for TV shows.

Bradley learnt keyboard and later piano with Andrew Eales, starting as a beginner aged 11 and continuing until he departed for University aged 18. He writes:

"It's hard to express in words just how grateful I am to Andrew for all the lessons and all the guidance. I wouldn't be where I am today were it not for Andrew never giving up on me, and pushing to get the very best out of me. I couldn't have hoped for a better teacher."

Amy Callow

Amy started keyboard lessons with Andrew Eales as an 11 year old beginner, and continued learning with him throughout her school years and beyond.

During her years with Andrew she switched to piano, taking the grades, completing A' Level Music, and gained her place at Oxford Brookes University. While studying for her music degree at Oxford, Amy continued to have private lessons with Andrew back in MK.

She subsequently took up her first music teaching post at the Hazeley School in Milton Keynes, and from September 2015 teaches music at Stantonbury Campus.
